So. Today's the day, guys. My last day in high school. Yeah, to some, it's not that big of a deal. But to me, it's monumental. This marks the day that I've been waiting for since I set foot in my kindergarten classroom. It's been 13 years, and that is insane. I'm so glad that I made it.

At the same time, I feel a little...empty. I know that after today, I might not ever see some of my friends again. You make the promises to write, to call, to keep in touch, but in reality, life gets so busy and hectic that you barely have time for you, let alone time to call up all your old friends from high school and find out what they're up to. And that's very sad to me. Before Jefferson, I didn't really have what I consider to be a true friend.

So, this is to my friends, the ones that have been with me these past three years, since I came to Jefferson. You guys are amazing. Really. There are no words to describe how much you mean to me. Without you, I would be lost. Your faces have made it worthwhile for me to crawl my lazy arse out of bed in the morning and drive the 15 minutes it takes me to get to school. You have been there to participate in my good times, and you never deserted me in the bad. You are all truly spectacular people, and I have absolutely no idea what I would do without you. Before I came here, I was hollow. I had no idea what it meant to really be friends with somebody. Now I know. And you are the ones that have taught me. Thank you for that. And thank you for helping me see that not everyone would hurt me. That was a huge lesson that I needed to learn. I love you all more than life.

Man, I just can't believe it's over. It doesn't seem like I'm old enough to really be graduating. Then again, I feel ancient compared to the freshmen. I don't know. It's so awkward.

Anyway. I'm going to go and try to find something to entertain myself with for the next hour.
